The Berlina Clutch Story

When I saw Gustto's Berlina clutch in the Gilt mailer, my heart skipped a beat. Although I have never heard of the brand and am more of a Big Bag kind of girl, the simple yet artful arcs of the clutch cried out to me.

How this clutch made its way to me is quite a mystery. When I first logged into the Gilt sale, the clutch was already sold in all colours (black, white and charcoal). I took it as it was not meant to be and didn't opt to put myself on the waiting list. A few days later, while browsing another sale in Gilt, I decided to pop over to the Gustto section to save the picture of the Berlina clutch in my inspiration folder. Lo and behold! One lone charcoal Berlina was still available! The rest was history.

Why and how the charcoal clutch appeared again, I have no idea. Although it arrived in less than pristine condition, Gilt doesn't allow return of leather goods, so I doubt the clutch was purchased previously. I don't particularly mind about the scratches as I think it just adds to the rugged charm of the clutch.
